FAQs

When will I receive my certificate?

It takes approximately 5 business days to complete your order. This includes the distribution of your bought Quran(s). So, if you buy a Quran, your Quran will be distributed in the chosen area (Makkah or Madinah) within 5 business days and your certificate will also be sent within 5 business days.

What do you mean by 'distributing'?

All Qurans including Madinah printed for donations are allowed to be left at the front of one of the main gates. But, they also don't use them inside the mosque, the workers gather them and take them to a special office where they give them away to visitors. These visitors, from all over the world, will take the Qurans with them and your Waqf will spread the world (as many of them take the Qurans with them back to their country).

The distribution takes places on the grounds of Masjid Al Haram (Makkah and Madinah).

Does buying and distributing a Quran count as sadaqa jariyah?

Yes. Once you buy a Quran at our website, you can choose on whose name you want the Quran to be distributed in Masjid Al Haram, Makkah.

It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) that he said: “Among the good deeds the reward of which will reach a believer after his death are: knowledge which he learned and then spread; a righteous son whom he leaves behind; a copy of the Quran that he leaves as a legacy; a mosque that he built; a house that he built for wayfarers; a canal that he dug; or charity that he gave during his lifetime when he was in good health. These deeds will reach him after his death.” Narrated by Ibn Majah (242). Al-Mundhiri said in at-Targhib wa't-Tarhib (1/78): Its isnad is hasan. It was also classed as hasan by al-Albani in Sahih Ibn Majah.

Do the Masjids have a limit of Qurans? And what happens if there are too many?

The mosque houses between 60,000 to 75,000 Qurans, which are distributed to visitors daily. Several times a year, the Quran office receives new copies from the government, replacing all Qurans within the mosque. The used Qurans, after being in circulation for around three months, are given away to visitors for free. Whether you contribute by placing Qurans inside the mosque or distributing them to visitors, your donation will reach people from around the world, allowing your Waqf to spread the message of the Quran globally, in sha Allah.

Can I have the Quran distributed in someone else's name?

Yes. In your shopping cart, write down the name of the person for whom you want to perform this sadaqa jariyah. Do not forget to make the intention that you will have the Quran distributed in that person's name.

You can choose for the certificate to be directly delivered to this person by writing their address/email instead of yours. This way, this person will receive the certificate directly in their mailbox/inbox.

Do not forget your intention when gifting someone (or yourself) the sadaqa jariyah.

May Allah accept this intention and the sadaqa jariyah, ameen!

Is it also possible to buy multiple Qurans?

Yes. We've currently added the option to buy 1, 3 or 5 Qurans to be distributed in Makkah or Madinah. Keep in mind that if you choose for multiple Qurans, you will only receive one certificate with the number of Qurans written on it.

For example:
You choose to buy 3 Qurans and put it in the name of your partner/friend, you will receive a certificate on which is stated that in the name of your partner/friend (the name you write down) 3 Qurans will be distributed in Makkah or Madinah.

Do I always receive a certificate?

Yes. You can either choose to receive a digital certificate, a paper certificate or a paper certificate with a luxurious certificate case. If you choose a digital certificate, the certificate will be sent to the email address that is noted during checkout. We are a gift-concept, so our main focus is distributing the Quran as Waqf and sending you a certificate with it. This way you can gift someone a beautiful gift of Sadaqa Jariyah.

Do I receive proof of donation, for example a picture of video of my donation?

Unfortunately, the frequency of the distribution of Qurans is very high which makes it very hard for us to send videos or photos of each Quran/sadaqa. That’s why now and then we try to post photos and videos on our socials to ensure you that the Qurans are being distributed.

We are in regular contact with our partner to ensure this, and our verbal agreement remains binding within the framework of our Deen. Ultimately, everything we do is carried out with the fear of Allah in our hearts and with trust in His guidance.

And Allah knows best.

I wrote down a wrong name, can I still change it?

Unfortunately, in most cases, as soon as you've completed your order it is no longer possible to make any changes.

However, we always advise our customers to reach out to us. In this case, send us an email or fill in the contact form and we will try to do our best to help you, where possible.

If you have any questions or feedback, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We are more than happy to assist you and clarify any concerns, in sha Allah.
